MORRISTOWN, PA- Max Athletics, one of the top sports uniform retailers on the East Coast, select the Connecticut Bearcats as the cover model for their 2010 catalog. “It’s a huge honor to say the least” said team owner Byron Knox. “The company deals with hundreds of other sport teams, for us to be on the cover means a lot.”

Max Athletic is centered out of Morristown, Pennsylvania and is known for their custom uniform designs. “The Bearcats is a Grade A franchise and one of my top clients” said area representative Terrance McNeil, “having them on the cover makes other organizations take a second look at our catalog.”

Known as “Connecticut’s Team”, the Bearcats over the past year has secured corporate relationships with national franchises such as TD Bank, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Buffalo Wild Wings, and Black Bear Saloons. They have also become synonymous with area companies like Wallingford Auto Body and Wallingford Toyota to name a few. They have recently made a connection with Chad Cares, the non-for-profit outreach program headed by New Haven native and World Champion boxer Chad Dawson. “We have expanded our range this year without a doubt” said Knox, “we want to continue moving ahead and make the Bearcats a household name to the football fans in Connecticut.”
